Updated October 27, 2026 · ~2 min read · ModMaker Pro 1.1.1 · Windows

ModMaker Pro 1.1.1 comes as a normal Windows installer. Here’s how to get it running and how updates work.

Install in 5 steps

  1. Download the installerGet ModMakerPro-Setup-1.1.1.exe (about 149 MB) from the ModMaker Pro download section.
  2. Run itDouble-click the file. If Windows shows “Windows protected your PC”, click More info, then Run anyway. We’re a small group of devs and the installer isn’t code-signed yet.
  3. Finish setupClick through the installer. It installs for your Windows user, so no admin password is needed, and adds ModMaker Pro to your Desktop and Start menu.
  4. Open ModMaker ProOn first run, ModMaker sets itself up from your own game install. This takes a minute, once.
  5. Design and exportMake your pack, press Export, then Install. The app shows which pack is installed in FiveM and when. Restart FiveM to see it. Your first export is free, one per PC.

Updates

From 1.1.1 on, ModMaker Pro checks for new versions by itself. When one is out, you’ll see Update available. Say OK and the app closes, updates and opens again. If an update doesn’t finish, close ModMaker Pro and run the newest installer from the download section.

Coming from 1.0.0 or 1.1.0?

Those versions came as a zip and don’t update themselves. Install 1.1.1 with the installer once. After that, updates come to you.

Prefer the zip?

Download ModMakerPro-1.1.1-win64.zip (about 223 MB) from the download section. Right-click it and choose Extract All. Don’t run the app from inside the zip. Then open the extracted folder and run ModMakerPro.exe. The installer is the easier option: it adds shortcuts, an uninstaller and automatic updates.
